And in November @AlboMP wrote to Morrison, seeking urgent COAG meeting to expand national aerial firefighting fleet.
Morrison has been warned for years that we needed more water bombers for bushfires. He did nothing.

Morrison announces new water bombers:
* 4 years after asked by National coordinating body,
* >18 mths after that body presented business case,
* 9 mths after Labor made election commitment for more planes,
* 6 weeks after @AlboMP asked.
All that time, Morrison has done nothing.
Morrison’s claim to have responded to water bomber business case is not true. @nafcaus sought ongoing funding, he only granted one off funding. NSWRFS Commissioner said this morning this funding uncertainty impeded provision of aircraft.

Right now, @SenatorCash making statement to Senate to explain why her staff have contradicted her, about police leak scandal, in their evidence to court.
For 3 days, media has reported evidence of Cash’s former staff in court. Yet she still claims she is unaware of that evidence and can’t comment. Wilful blindness won’t save this disgraced, desperate Minister.
In answer to a question from @SenatorDoug, Cash won’t comment on whether she was the ultimate source of the police raid leak. Getting interesting.
