The police have stated that they made repeated appeals for the same before relocating them. They have also stated that there are better toilet and water facilities at Azad Maidan. (2/n)

Restrictions bad to be placed at several roads around Gateway due to the protest which can't be in place indefinitely. There are videos that show that the relocation was conducted without a single lathi, or even a hand, being raised (3/n)

Update: Just spoke to Mr Firoze Mithiborwala, who confirmed that all the protestors are safe and that they're ending the protest and going home as soon as the formalities are over.
