Presidential address postponed.

So long as Iran is showing fake pictures of bombings on TV, they seem to be playing mostly for the cheap seats in Iran, I think. Any response from the U.S. is likely not to be of that kind.

These are the powers Congress beats its chest over to score political points when it is safe (like now, after Iran has backed down), and shits its pants over if and when a president forces Congress to make an actual fucking decision regarding war.
2. Remember what happened when Syria crossed Obama's red line. On Thrusday morning, Obama flexed his executive muscles and said he had all the executive authority needed to respond aggressively to Syria. Congress kept mum. ,
3. On Thursday evening Obama, approaching moment of truth, started leaking in his pants and looking for a way out without appearing like a complete coward. After much anguishing, he hit upon a plan.

1. Iranian Mullahs Are Not Crazy

Sanity seems to have prevailed. I had a premonition it would, because I have always known Mullahs are not crazy, even if they play crazy on TV. Allow me to elaborate.

2. Let us see what Mullahs did. They kept escalating nuisances for Trump (shooting down U.S. drones, attacking Saudi oil facilities, attacking U.S. embassy in Iraq) as way to test whether they could push him all the way into Obama territory. They found out the hard way!
3. So how did they respond, once they got religion, backed by a clear and unmistakable message directly from President Trump what he would do if they continue to misbehave?
