1. Iranian Mullahs Are Not Crazy

Sanity seems to have prevailed. I had a premonition it would, because I have always known Mullahs are not crazy, even if they play crazy on TV. Allow me to elaborate.

2. Let us see what Mullahs did. They kept escalating nuisances for Trump (shooting down U.S. drones, attacking Saudi oil facilities, attacking U.S. embassy in Iraq) as way to test whether they could push him all the way into Obama territory. They found out the hard way!
3. So how did they respond, once they got religion, backed by a clear and unmistakable message directly from President Trump what he would do if they continue to misbehave?
4. First the Chief Mullah sent out a clear directive to IRGC proxies in the middle east to stand down. Supremo said Iran will respond to the U.S. directly and from Iranian soil. They did not want any accidents. They know Trump's real red line is any American casualty.
5. Then they launched 15 puny-ass missiles making sure not to endanger any American lives, to please any domestic sheep who still follow them. And then they stood down in no uncertain terms to make sure Trump understood their tails were firmly back between their legs.
6. These are not crazy mullahs. They are fucking paper tigers, whose biggest fear is their own people beheading them, and now Trump decapitating them with extreme prejudice.
7. I think Trump should now encourage an Iranian domestic revolution, by saying any human rights violations against peaceful demonstrators will be dealt with sternly through the U.N.
8. Then shame the U.N. into going tough on Mullahs if they hurt any peaceful demonstrators. Iranians are perfectly capable of both a revolution, if they can be assured of some cover against brutal repression, and governing themselves given a chance.
9. Iran has plenty of smart people who can run a decent government afterwards. Iran is much better than Iraq in being able to pull together a decent administration, once the Mullahs are gone.
10. Khamenei, and his minion mullahs, can retire to France and spend his remaining days with wine and concubines, just as he was doing way back in the day when he was in exile. Totally unfair, but a small price to pay for a shot at a peaceful Middle East.
