What do you think about tech like this; claims they can ID & Map mineral formations “several hundred meters deep” from a drone - any opinions?

... I have some experience in ‘formation evaluation’... but nothing with drones.

Just wondering what our corner thinks?

Something I forgot about until now...

In the 2018 OIG Report, Comey claimed that he only had a Samsung and a Blackberry - that info is in conflict with the Strzok & Pages texts, which clearly ID Comey as using an iPhone.

We never heard anything more about it...
And I think it’s pretty damn important...

Bc in that OIG Report, there was the beautiful data-vis charts, that showed the various players leaking to media.

And in those charts it ID’d an ‘Unauthorized FBI iPhone’...

Two separate leaks to two different reporters!
I want to know who that was - was it Comey?

Who are the two reporters; what were the leaks?

If you want leads on these 3-5 weapons that you cannot trace... why not release them to the public?

I’m serious - responsible gun owners are happy to lend a hand. But you’ll have to release the SN#...
And about the Pawn Shop owner, Ahmed A-Hady...

This lists only 1 count - illegal possession of a SW .44 Handgun.

But it was reported that there were 10 total... and you only provide SN# on a couple of them.

What about the 9 other firearms - will he be charged? And what about the other Serial Numbers - why aren’t the other 8 provided?

First, understand that ALL COMMERCIAL SALES REQUIRE A BACKGROUND CHECK!

That is not necessarily true for Private-to-Private sales, but every SN# on every gun in the US *should* eventually track to *somebody*.

Once you get to that *somebody*... you can chase leads (connect dots)
However... we have a recent issue with ‘Ghost Guns’ - there are to types of guns that are referenced with that term.

1. There is no serial number

2. There is, but they cannot connect it to a transaction in their system

with #ridehailing services. #Uber came into Nigeria and we realized taxis were not enough. whether it was because it was a popular international service
or because it had a good PR for representing your class or status, truth is #uber really did solve a problem. instead of walking to parks or bus stops looking for a taxi, your ride comes to you.
You have the right to choose what ride comes to pick you up based on your pocket
let's not even talk about convenience, the good Air conditioning that these guys used to offer during rides (not certain anymore) or the fact that it gave people the ability to have multiple jobs/sources of income once you have a vehicle.

Dear #dnd #battlemap and encounter #map users and designers: A musing thread...
About 25% of my way-too-much gaming is #dnd. As a long-time user of battlemaps (vs. terrain), I prefer to use printed or printable battlemaps at the table when I run dungeons (I use more Theater of the Mind when running heists and other non-dungeon action sequences).
And I've been using battlemaps from DAY ONE of my D&D life, because I started with The New Easy to Master Dungeons and Dragons Game boxed set that came with that amazing vinyl(!) Zanzer's Dungeon map.
