That someone could work in a doctor's office for 20yrs and come away spewing such false and misleading claims is painful and speaks to our broken system. I have been writing about the health care crisis since 1993. Biases in health care against poor, women, POC are well-studied.
Women especially are turned away from ERs only to die from the incipient heart attacks they were having that didn't show standard (male) symptomology. I went to the ER with what was presumed to be bronchitis--and had a collapsed lung. Healthcare workers must put patients first.
If you are punching down at patients, and your concern is for the for-profit healthcare industry over patient care, please find a new profession. This hardly exemplifies compassion as a strong suit.
