A few minutes ago I was wandering around a hotel lobby with my cane looking for a bathroom. A woman in her sixties got up from her table in the restaurant and walked over to me. As she approached, she said,
I said I was and she gave me directions to one right off the elevator. I thanked her and began to walk to the elevator.
A second later I felt a tap on my shoulder. It was the same woman.
She sprinted over to the front desk and after a minute came back flashing a thumbs up.
I thanked her again, got on the elevator and...
I then came down to the lobby and saw her again. She was eating dinner with a friend whom she left twice to help me.
As I walked by I said thank you again. She looked up, smiled and said,
I replied, “Absolutely.”
I then walked to the bar and sat down. When the bartender came over I asked if he saw the two ladies seated behind me (the amazing woman’s table was right behind my seat).
He said he did.
We gotta take care of each other, right?
She then gave me a hug and we wished each other a good night.
