A few minutes ago I was wandering around a hotel lobby with my cane looking for a bathroom. A woman in her sixties got up from her table in the restaurant and walked over to me. As she approached, she said,
“Sorry, sometimes I’m a over helper. Are you looking for an accessible bathroom?”

I said I was and she gave me directions to one right off the elevator. I thanked her and began to walk to the elevator.

A second later I felt a tap on my shoulder. It was the same woman.
She had gotten back up from her table and said, “Wait one second, I want to check with the front desk to make sure the bathroom is open.”

She sprinted over to the front desk and after a minute came back flashing a thumbs up.

I thanked her again, got on the elevator and...
Found the bathroom right she said it would be.

I then came down to the lobby and saw her again. She was eating dinner with a friend whom she left twice to help me.

As I walked by I said thank you again. She looked up, smiled and said,
“We all gotta take care of each, right?”

I replied, “Absolutely.”

I then walked to the bar and sat down. When the bartender came over I asked if he saw the two ladies seated behind me (the amazing woman’s table was right behind my seat).

He said he did.
I then asked if I could pay their tab. He handed me their check and I handed him my card.

We gotta take care of each other, right?
Update: she just found out I paid and came over to my seat. She then said, “Thank you. I thought there was an error on the bill. You didn’t have to do that but I love for doing it. There is good in the world.”

She then gave me a hug and we wished each other a good night.
