The narrative that Trump had someone arrested in order to silence them was used for Avenatti, and is now being used for Parnas. I believe neither.

People like this—brave patriots willing to do the right thing; to tell the truth, even at great risk to themselves—are what Trump is afraid of. Not his hired goons. 
Yes, there may be some bad apples. There always are. But this is not Russia. We are not a mafia state. There hasn’t been time to replace the patriot majority with crooks, to change the fabric of this nation.
