This is not always true and it’s not right to dissuade people who engage in such teachings. I used to castigate people who teach you wealth creation but don’t do it themselves but if you look at it, it’s quite flawed and it depends on the operational level.

I know a Professor in the UK who teaches how to make money using forex and the capital markets. He doesn’t have the practical experience, he has the knowledge and that’s what he loves passing on.

He even once said that after graduating, his lecturer kept teaching him how to make money easily by trading in stocks but the same lecturer never did it.
Point is, there are people who truly understand the dynamics of how economics work; they can teach you how to make money but

...this usually depends on the operational level and that’s why it is hard to believe a man who treks in the scorching sun and says he knows how to make wealth. But then, on larger scales, there are people who specialize in passing on that knowledge.

Indeed, common sense makes us question these things but if we are to be objective and rational, we’d find that the logic we apply doesn’t follow.

It is definitely the same logic. Wealth and wealth making are two different things. They are related because a wealthy man would know how to teach it or make others know it, but the converse is not always true.
To relate both concepts as though they must necessarily follow is to make them synonymous when they actually aren’t.
The common sense we apply assumes a definition of the means to wealth creation; a definition which is simply not universally held nor generally applicable.
