In india, we are basically out of options.. the trust vote takes precedence in both the upper and lower house. It may look indetical but the whole process is a sham.

In both the houses, there is no way to bring in any kind of articles agains the PM. The largest democracy mostly depends on the Supreme Court.. there is no way anyone one can bring articles of impeachment in any house.. this is a shame.
On paper, one can say that a parliamentarian can bring in a article.. however, there isn’t a due process for abuse of power or a trial that takes place.. the parliamentarians will only go with the majority and members who belong to the minority cannot ever bring any article..
It doesn’t mean a party has the mandate and can indulge in abuse of power. Anyone trying to ask questions is labelled an opposition agent. There is so much corruption and abuse of power.. there should be a fair trail but we don’t even talk about that.
Anyone who has followed the impeachment trial in the US will be surprised to see that the largest democracy(india) has no way to have conduct a fair trail. The party with the mandate continues to abuse their power.
