Their @Type2CEO just admitted to reversing her Type 2 Diabetes diagnosis and getting off drugs and insulin.
but... 1/n
What is going on? There are 18 Board Members of the ADA.
2/n
3/n
So who on this board is preventing the progress of the ADA?
Who is anti-science? Who is corrupt? Who is delaying progress? Help us make sense of this discrepancy @AmDiabetesAssn - You should be a leader in this space - not 25 years behind the curve! 4/n

Tells me what carbs are. And then gives zero advice on what to do with this knowledge. Are we supposed to eat any? Are they required? What happens when you don't eat carbs? Low insulin and steady glucose and a diabetes reversal. Hmmm.

I just don't think this advice is clear enough. "balanced nutrient mix" is meaningless -meat has no carbs
Okay we clicked the link to find out more.
Fruits and vegetables? Show me the data.
Lean meats? What? No. we need animal fat for energy!
Less added sugar? How about NO added sugar. You have diabetes after all! Pick your feet or sugar!

Take bets - let's see what a superfood is!

LMAO I'm right.
* Beans -> packed with vitamins and minerals (and lectins)
Beans do contain carbohydrates, but ½ cup also provides as much protein as an ounce of meat without the saturated fat.
Poorly bio-available protein. Saturated fat is bad? WRONG
Also packed with oxalates and anti-nutrients that don't want to be eaten. Kidney stones anyone? Autoimmune diseases? IBS? Let's flag some of the risks of the innocent dark green leafy veggies.

Yes. THE @AmDiabetesAssn literally says this in 2020. Fiber still isn't a nutrient. The vitamin A isn't even easy to convert to Retinol.

But those were all the foods that @type2ceo said she eats. So what exactly is going on here? How can a CEO say one thing and have a company that does another? That's #Hypocrisy.
UM - HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM.

Maybe we should Retweet this link and Propose some radical changes to the ADA!
