I support broad thrust of the pledge (campaigning for trans rights) but I think it is over-broad, particularly paras 9 and 10. Could lead to discrimination/victimisation (within meaning of Equality Act) e.g. a woman being expelled/treated worse for being member of Woman's Place..
... when she would argue she was campaigning for woman's rights. Obviously there is a hugely contentious issue around whether orgs are "transphobic" (see my many previous tweets) but combining 9-10 would arguably automatically expel anyone being member of those orgs.
A political party (and any prospective leader of a political party) should stand up for oppressed communities but also be wary of not undermining free speech of members or doing something which could lead to legal problems.
Counter argument would be that certain orgs (named ones) are so anti-trans rights that they have to be banned and everyone in them expelled from the party. But given how contentious that statement is, it's probably not something which should be linked to disciplinary processes
