I mean, these other candidates didn't just drop out of the sky and get 24%! There's no reason "former mayor of South Bend, Indiana" should have been a contender.

I predict Bernie will win the nomination (and I predicted this from the start), but I thought he'd be getting 35% in New Hampshire and Iowa and he's getting like 26% or 28%.
"So what if Bernie is uninspiring to people outside of his base, he'll still beat Trump because people hate Trump" is another one I hear.

I think the anti-Trump vote will probably be enough to propel Bernie to victory. Usually a "lesser of two evils" argument doesn't work, but Trump is SUPER evil, so I think this time it will.

And Bernie's entire case that he can pass M4A and other huge policy changes rests on the idea that a "political revolution" -- i.e. a huge wave of popular enthusiasm -- will make it impossible for Republicans not to go along.
