MAST CELL ARMY: The body-wide mast cell army roams myriad peripheral & central microanatomical sites detecting foreign antigens, extruding dozens of biochemical reactive substances, & even assembling micro-injection tubes with which to inject other cells with micro-RNA.
In addition to immediate degranulation & release of chemical transmitters & pain arousing substances, once stimulated they chemically manufacture other substances for delayed extracellular release.
Defense mechanisms include extruding microbe-ensnaring biochemical “traps”& molecules of a forward base pain-warning system that activates nociceptive neurons.
Mast cells are unique in ability to penetrate the blood brain barrier & then, within the CNS, to modulate brain neuron functions; many manifest as symptoms of clinical disorders.
With regard that mast cells are activated by molecules foreign to human tissues, the question arises whether a good portion of modern ills reflect the millions of synthetic substances mankind has created & released into animal/human bodies & their ambient environs.
Early microbiologists & colleagues of Dr. Pasteur oft held that microbial infections were more a function of a healthy “terrain”, natural indigenous defenses, than virulence of ubiquitous germs. Could it be that human activities have overwhelmed these defenses?

Recent Fibromyalgia clinical studies demonstrated superior therapeutic efficacy > FDA approved pharmaceuticals, of exogenous Cannabis plant cannabinoids & used in ways to consume all contained alkaloids (over 100; CBD only one alkaloid) in natural ratios & in entourage fashion.
