What happens to energy security after SC’s decision on AGR yesterday?

Pls see, if the following figures make any sense to you!

GAIL
To pay 172656 cr
Q3 profit ₹ 2029 cr

Oil INDIA
To pay 48489 cr
Q3 profit ₹709 cr

Powergrid Corporation
To pay 22063 cr
Q3 profit ₹2331 cr
What ever be the formula for calculating AGR, common sense demands an answer.

How can the AGR-Adjusted Gross Revenue for using telecom license be more than the total cumulative profit over 20 years for GAIL, OIL, Powergrid, Delhi Metro, RailTel respectively!
Or is it that the revenue crunch of the government is so alarming that any revenue from any source, under any orders, is welcome at present.

क्यों है असम NRC का डेटा ग़ायब?

NRC का डेटा विप्रो के प्राइवेट क्लाउड सर्वर पर स्टोर किया गया।

सर्वर की पेमेंट renew नहीं हुई, तो विप्रो ने सर्वर access बंद कर दिया।

सर्वर access दोबारा देने के लिए पासवर्ड चाहिए।

जिस महिला अधिकारी के पास पासवर्ड था, वो नौकरी छोड़ चुकी है।1/n
अब पासवर्ड किसी पास नहीं है, जिससे NRC का डेटा restore किया जा सके।

वो महिला अधिकारी NIC मेल नहीं, gmail इस्तेमाल करती थी, जो भारत सरकार के कंट्रोल से बाहर है, इसलिए सरकार पासवर्ड रीसेट नहीं कर पा रही।

सम्भव है कि वो gmail अकाउंट नौकरी छोड़ने के साथ डिलीट कर दिया हो।2/n
Gmail अकाउंट डिलीट होने पर सभी ईमेल हमेशा के लिए डिलीट हो जाते हैं। gmail सरकारों को भी अपने सर्वर का ऐक्सेस नहीं देता है।

अब सरकार ने उस महिला अधिकारी के ख़िलाफ़ FIR की है और साथ ही कहा है कि उसके gmail में संवेदनशील मेल हैं, जिनसे वो छेड़छाड़ न कर सके। 3/n

असम NRC से नागरिकता तय कर रहे हैं और अभी तक डेटा सुरक्षा के प्रोटोकॉल तय नहीं हैं। कैसे सम्भव है कि संवेदनशील सरकारी मेल gmail पर हो? कोई अधिकारी बिना चेक-बैलेन्स के मेल डिलीट कर सके? डेटा प्राइवेट सर्वर पर हो?

असम NRC में FIR और पेमेंट के कारण सर्वर से डेटा हटना उन ख़तरों की आहट है, जिसे समझना चाहिए।

डेटा की सुरक्षा केवल तकनीकी मामला नहीं है। यह राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा, वित्तीय सुरक्षा और नागरिकों की नागरिकता के अधिकार की सुरक्षा से जुड़ा है।

यह चिंता की बात है की NRC के डेटाबेस की सुरक्षा को लेकर सरकार की तैयारी नहीं है। गौरतलब है कि सुप्रीम कोर्ट के नौ जज की बेंच ने प्राइवेसी को मूल अधिकार माना है और यह कहा है कि आधार का डाटा सरकार राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा के मामलों में भी शेयर नहीं कर सकती है। 3/n

रक्षा बजट 10.6% घट कर 10.1% हुआ।

पिछले बजट में 10.6 % था, जो बाद में revise हो कर 11.7 % हुआ।

इस बजट में 10.1% रह गया है।

फ़ूड सब्सिडी में भारी कटौती की गयी है - ₹68650 करोड़ की।

पिछले बजट में ₹1,84,200 करोड़ थे।
आज के बजट में सिर्फ़ ₹1,15,570 करोड़ हैं।

यही नहीं, पिछले बजट के ₹75,532 करोड़ खर्च नहीं हुए (RE)

FCI ने क़र्ज़ ले कर काम चलाया, RE कम हुआ और इस तरह से fiscal deficit कम हुआ।

पिछले revised estimate के मुक़ाबले ₹1,381 करोड़ इस बजट में कम कर दिए हैं।

इस बार ₹27227 करोड़ हैं,
पिछली बार ₹ 27043 करोड़ था
RE में ₹28608 करोड़ था।

यानि उद्योग और वाणिज्य मंत्रालय के लिए पैसा कम हो गया है। 3/n

#AGR hearing in the #SupremeCourt commences with a light hearted comment by Justice Arun Mishra. The leading judge on the bench wanted a light lamp to be moved away form his dais. The court staff fails to do so. The judge does it himself. "Yahan sab kaam khud hi karna padta hai".
Govt company Oil India, represented by Sr adv Mukul Rohatgi, seeks an audience but Justice Mishra is irate. "Who is making all this happen? We want to use very harsh words. This is completely nonsense. We have already said what we have to. What have you made of this system?"
Rohatgi opts to withdraw. Another matter mentioned but Justice Mishra says he is anguished. "A desk officer in the Govt stays a #SupremeCourt order. He says that he can stay the operation of the court order. Is there any law left in the country? Call that desk officer here."

This will be my real time thread as I look into Epstein a little this morning. #Q posted qmap.pub/read/3427 a link to a new video of the island.
I first checked out the sundial for any symbolism. It is a perfectly laid out sundial for the 18.3° N latitude of Little Saint James. (I overlaid the black diagram to check it's accuracy.)
There are 13 benches around the sundial. This does not seem to be an arbitrary design decision as there are gaps in the uneven spacing which could have accommodated more. The number of benches may have been chosen for a 13-member gathering.

Reports suggested that the vehicle used by the terrorists was a Mahindra Scorpio carrying more than 350 kg of explosives in what is the worst attack ever on security personnel in the state.
Sources said that terrorists triggered the car bomb while 78 vehicles with over 2,500 reserve police men were on the Srinagar-Jammu highway. The stretch on which the incident occurred had been sanitized in the morning & authorities called it a serious breach of security.
