THREAD: Here’s the short Constitutional argument for #2A.

America has a rule of law that requires our government to protect our individual, pre-political rights that come from our Creator, not our government. 1/4
Our government cannot constitutionally presume every law abiding citizen is a criminal and treat them as such, nor can the government legislatively deny or abridge my rights without due process or on the basis of someone else’s criminal act. 2/4
That’s not a policy argument; that’s simply our rule of law.

If you don’t like that, your option is to move to a different country that doesn’t recognize that human rights are pre-political. 3/4
You do NOT in America have the option to legislatively preemptively deny me the free choice to exercise my fundamental right to own and carry arms.

This is the essence of liberty. 4/4
