1/4 If you don’t know why Family Law is so dangerous for victims of DV, Hannah’s story should help

He, after being an abusive Husband has EVERY RIGHT to file for shared-custody in court.

HE is a perpetrator & even if he never “hurt” his kids he inflicted terror on

their Mum. Their primary care giver. He should not be entitled to anything to do with his children until he has been rehabilitated through an offender program.

If we get serious about #endfdv this surely will save lives & most importantly BREAK THE CYCLE.

The law currently says

2/4 Best interests of the child are to be applied.”

For the life of me & my kids I can not fathom how a relationship when you’re a child with a manipulative, controlling, abuser who is your parent could be remotely in “the your best interest.”

Any Dad who wants to commit these acts should have ZERO rights in his child’s life. I’m sure some, not all men would be deterred to commit the violence & second to
