Mike Bloomberg should not be the Democratic nominee, will not be able to do what is needed to help fix this country and government after Trump, and could lose just as easily — if not more easily — than any of the other candidates up there.
That Bloomberg is still telling the American people that he addressed stop and frisk — and not that extensive litigation did it — is reprehensible. What’s worse is that he was fighting that litigation until he left office — and defending the policy until last year.
That Bloomberg continues to be dismissive of questions about the sexual harassment and gender discrimination litigation faced by his company — trying to winnow the discussion down to three NDAs relating to comments he made — is missing the point of the questions altogether.
That Bloomberg, even on live TV while seeking the Democratic nomination in 2020, would almost absent-mindedly suggest that he “bought” the House majority shows how little he cares about reducing wealth disparity or the role of money in politics.
