The only thing to add is I do not quite agree with the methods used. In statistics, you can project the stats from the sample to the population if the sample is randomly selected, e.g. on Chinese students, all were living together closeby and in Qom. I think x50 makes more sense.

Qom, Iran’s #COVID19 epicentre was never quarantined. There is some finger pointing going on by various parties. IRGC and head of judiciary say it was Health officials while some MPs blame senior Qom clerics. Still, they don’t quarantine. Governor considering pseudo-quarantine!
