If you are an employer, what can you do to decrease social mixing (the number of contacts a person has, on average, with other people)? This is important because it helps "flatten the curve" of the epidemic, spreading out the incidence of cases of COVID-19 over time. 1/
Some things employers can do:
1) Allow anyone who wants to, and can, to work from home. This also helps those who cannot work from home, by reducing their contacts!
2) Stagger work hours so that the total number of people in the workplace at any given time is smaller. 2/
3) Incentivize sick leave by giving employees a 50% bonus on existing sick time.
4) Implement cafeteria policy of only one person per table, with quick eating.
5) Cancel all non-essential in-person meetings.
6) Only require essential people for any given meeting. 3/
All of this is to decrease social mixing, which is the most important thing we can do to confront the COVID19 pandemic. But also:

7) Encourage hand washing.
8) Increase cleaning crews to clean surfaces (alas, how often is hard to estimate). 4/
