Bernie needs to learn from Andrew Yang.

As a candidate, you can have great, important ideas that change perspective on an issue. This is why you run. To get the idea out there.

But that doesn’t mean you need to be the one to enact those ideas. Sometimes you just get in the way.
There is no appetite now for the forever primary.

Biden has shown he is willing to engage his former opponents, bring their ideas into his platform when they are good ideas with wise support.

This is great. The hallmark of a functioning party and adept leader.
If this crisis goes the way that really smart people are predicting, it will be a pivot point in American politics.

This vast internal crisis is exposing all the seams. Exposing how they make us more fragile and less able to adapt in times of stress.
The next American leader must act to make us anti-fragile as a nation. Not just react and respond, but get ahead of the next crisis, the next application of stress to the system.

There will be a window to close a lot of the seams.
An adept leader will know how to capture the opportunity to do so.

Will know how to unify us to do so.

There will be no appetite to burn it down and start again after the crisis. Only to pick ourselves up, brush ourselves off, grab as much as we can, and move forward.
The crisis *is* the revolution.
