Tasmania has now recorded 10 cases of Covid-19.
"From midnight on Friday, only essential travellers will be allowed into Tasmania without going into quarantine. Any non-essential traveller into Tasmania will be required to go into a period of 14 days of quarantine."
All arrivals to Tas will have to fill in a Tasmanian arrivals card. It will be determined whether they count as essential or non-essential.
This is such a huge step.
"Those that come back to the state after midnight on Friday night will be required to go into a period of 14 days of quarantine. In terms of
other Tasmanians going about their day-to-day lives, they will have no impact..."
They're included in the Tas quarantine. So, you can go from Tasmania to Flinders/King Islands without quarantine but if you go from the mainland to the islands you need to quarantine.
No quarantine required between Tasmania and Flinders or King islands.
Quarantine required between mainland Australia and Tasmania and Flinders and King Islands.
