The sensible US policy today would be that the federal government closed down the country for one month, maintaining only food & medical essentials. Everybody would get a state insurance of a minimum income, perhaps $1,000 per person. The economy would be frozen w/o layoffs.
Yesterday's GOP proposal of $500 billion to be doled out to big corporations in secrecy is probably the biggest proposal of corruption in US history. Thank Heaven that it was stopped. Give the money to the people & not to the billionaires & their corporations!
Every day that passes without a coordinated US federal policy will lead to many ore deaths of Americans. Within a week we are likely to count hundreds of dead Americans every day, while Trump only stands in the White House & lies, while figuring out how to seize more state money.
