Two days ago — which is like 2 years in Covid time — I worried that social distancing might start to break down as people lose patience 1/
Silly me. Of course the first person to lose patience, and undermine efforts to contain the pandemic, will be Donald Trump himself. 2/
In other words, Trump's refusal to accept the reality of this crisis is going to kill a lot more Americans before he's done 3/

Crucially, the Trump administration’s refusal to make serious use of the Defense Production Act has left states competing with each other for critical medical supplies, from ventilators to personal protective equipment, leading to soaring prices. 2/
But is price-gouging in the wake of a disaster bad? Most people instinctively feel that it is — that those who happen to be in possession of crucial supplies in a time of extreme shortages shouldn’t be allowed to make a killing by selling those supplies at very high prices. 3/

They suggest that there may be lasting negative effects, even as the pandemic fades, because of balance-sheet damage; they suggest, going beyond where I was, that there may be adverse effects on the economy's potential 3/

Folks, I've been trying to help Seattle friends w/small businesses access the @SBA #COVID-19 Disaster Loans for nearly a month now.

While there is good intent behind the loan program, let me say: The SBA Loans are a sham. A mirage.

Links to nowhere. Lenders that don't exist.
Nobody who is sharing @SBA loan resources has CHECKED those resources. So they're sending people on a wild goose chase.

What happens?
1) Respected resources share "helpful links" to SBA's loan page
2) SBA loan page didn't work 'til Sunday. Three weeks went by. No loans.
3) SBA application is up! People fill it out—only to find out you need to save or print a PDF and take it to an approved SBA lender.
4) The list of approved lenders for WA is 4 orgs. None of them do SBA disaster loans right now. 1 well eventually, only to current customers.

Class notes time, and I'm not quite sure how to summarize the last year for so many reasons, never mind my first Supreme Court case. At least not by March 30?

TLDR: I sued POTUS, and I won; he appealed, and I won again. If need be, I'm taking on POTUS at SCOTUS

Coronavirus epidemy in Iran has past the crisis level. The country is imploding - law and order to disappear in the next days. A number of officials already died and mass infection among hospital staff and police forces reported.
#irancorona all of this, why?

The regime hid the initial cases since:
1) it was just before election and needed high turnout
2) due to political need, did not stop flights to china
3) source seems to becleric students from china arrived in Qom
4) did not close religious shrines
5) instead of providing information on the gravity of the risks to the public, played down and resorted to the same tactic of rhetoric “we will fight and beat it”

Now it has spread everywhere. The world now has an example on what failure to contain the virus can do.
