Important to call out #ChineseVirus19:

1—It not only originated in China.

But also,

2—The Chinese govt suppressed info on it.
3—It may've been created in Chinese lab &
4—...spread due to Chinese meat market

Most crucially:
5—Chinese propagandists' massive spin to deny links.
Notice how the China has unleashed bots (usually new accounts with 0-10 followers) to attack anyone on SM who questions China.

But "journalists" like @Tanvim & @NihaMasih are worse. They amplify Chinese propaganda using red herrings like "racism."

@NihaMasih Shame on you peddling Chinese propaganda (unless you are on the payroll). There is nothing racist or nasty in identifying China as the origin of the virus. It is dumb not to do so. It needs to be held accountable—that is what honest journalists must do.

My 84 year-old mom is alone in Gurgaon. She has a worker who comes to take care every day.

I can’t return from US because of restrictions. But police beats worker when she tries to attend to a very senior citizen. Isn’t this an essential service?

Worker has young children to attend to at her home also so that will be difficult.

Nearby friends are trying to help but they can only do so much. Shouldn’t the system have a simple way to issue on the spot permits for such situations?

Breaking: Large terrorist attack in #India. More than 40 Indian Reserve Police Force personnel were killed and many others injured when Pakistani backed terrorists targeted a convoy with a car bomb at Awantipora in Jammu and Kashmir's today, ndtv.com/india-news/15-…
Reports suggested that the vehicle used by the terrorists was a Mahindra Scorpio carrying more than 350 kg of explosives in what is the worst attack ever on security personnel in the state.
Sources said that terrorists triggered the car bomb while 78 vehicles with over 2,500 reserve police men were on the Srinagar-Jammu highway. The stretch on which the incident occurred had been sanitized in the morning & authorities called it a serious breach of security.
