So what happens if New Haven runs out of first-responders and some old Yale faculty members—and there are a lot of those!—get sick or need help? I mean it's just so gross. And so dumb
WTF kind of message does this send to students?

Sure they gave a $1M to relief fund.

They have $30 BILLION endowment.
Mayor of New Haven: “My response is this: if your house is burning down and you asked a neighbor if your kids could stay at your house and your neighbor said ‘no,’ but here is a check so you could stay at the Econo Lodge across town, what would that tell you about your neighbor?
