While I definitely agree that wall to wall live coverage of every Trump utterance is bonkers and unprecedented, the idea that he’ll just somehow fade away and wither without people pushing back is a liberal fantasy. You have to go in on these people hard to get anything done.
(And right now the Democrats are barely pushing back at all)
I don’t know where “he’s destroying himself” came from but boy a lot of people believe in it and boy it does not work.
