This ABP News video is of Delhi from 16th March - 4 days after Delhi govt. banned gatherings.

This is 1 day AFTER Tabhlighi Jamat meeting happened in Nizamuddin.

These are people gathered at Kalka Mandir in Kalkaji, Delhi for Navratra.

Will @ArvindKejriwal order an FIR now?

Why shouldn't action be taken against this religious gathering of 16th March & why shouldn't it elicit the same outrage as the Nizamuddin one?
PS:

Oh and the greatest irony - this temple is in the MLA constituency of @AtishiAAP.

Would love to hear her explain why an FIR hasn’t been filed here.

Using religion as a distraction y'day, Modi govt. quietly passed an ordinance amending the IT Act & bringing PM-CARES at par with PM National Relief Fund

They waited to do this till after Parliament session ended last week on 23 Mar'

Now, here's the interesting part.

When PM Modi announced PM-CARES on 28th March, the press release/appeal contained the account details for the fund including the SWIFT code of the bank.

A SWIFT code is only required for international bank transfers.

Then, on 30th March, PM Modi held a video conference call with Indian Ambassadors across the world.

In this call, he urged all Embassies to encourage & mobilize foreign donations to PM-CARES.

Suffice to say that until yesterday, PM-CARES accepted foreign funds.

The new PM-CARES Fund is eerily similar to "Bharat Ke Veer" fund set up last year after Pulwama attack.

There's no transparency on how that fund was spent. Akshay Kumar founded the trust (later taken on by MHA) & it claims "prominent ppl" decide how it's spent.

There's a similar lack of transparency with the PM-CARES fund. The trustees are anonymous (Home, Finance, & Defense Ministers are "AMONG THE TRUSTEES) which begs the question - who are the others?

There has been no official gazette notification with details either.

Ergo, I've filed an RTI asking details on the trust running PM CARES Fund.

ALSO - Prime Minister's National Relief Fund (PMNRF) had a balance of 3800 crores as of 2019. Modi could've asked for donations to it

What was the need for PM-CARES when PMNRF already exists?

There's something VERY FISHY going on with Covid-19 testing kits in India. Prima facie, it reeks of corruption & favoritism in a pandemic.

On 20th March, 18 firms got permission from govt. to get their testing kits validated by National Institute of Virology.

Meanwhile, a day earlier on 19th, Gujarat-based firm CoSara had already received an approval to start manufacturing Covid-19 test kits. This firm is a collaboration between a US-based company & an Ahmedabad-based firm.

CoSara's kits already have US FDA approval.

Some of the other 18 firms who were waiting to get their Covid-19 test kits validated said that these would be sold at a price of 400-500 per kit (far cheaper than imported ones).

CoSara, on the other hand, refused to publicly divulge the cost of their Covid-19 kits.
