What a disaster this is going to be because of cowardly foolish leaders fearing ignorant people who get their information from known greedy liars.
People do not need to drive far in the southeast to get food. The pink areas in the map in the image:

Other data tracking social distancing compliance:
People are focusing on how far you have to get groceries. It varies greatly in the United States but the issue is that in the areas where people are limiting their travel to essential services, people are not doing grocery trips every day anymore but much less frequently.
A new source on mobile movement: Google.
Some states and countries show dramatic change starting March 8th. Some have just started to reduce their retail and workplace activity.
