Going crazy by how nationwide and hospitals policy is based on projections that are endlessly way off on the doomsday side. At some point @realDonaldTrump et al need the “smart” people to sort out their data mess. NY was supposed to need 30,000 ICE beds by tomorrow! It’s under 5K

Today is the 22nd day if Spain’s lockdown that should have lasted 14 days and be the solution to all troubles but they are still clocking an average of about 750 deaths the last 7 days. If Corona hospitalization lags a good two weeks behind, deaths should have been way lower now.

Patients have no companions to assist with trival stuff and/or to comfort them. This ups their anxiety, leads to panic and heart attacks then death. Also, patients on vents choke on their saliva; no one there to alert staff so they die. Then leaders take these deadly numbers as

proof to double down on their full lockdown/shutout companion policies so it keeps making things worse; not better. Today is day 28 of Italy’s shutdown that should have solved all issues within 14 days. Leaders need to get back to the drawing table NOW to plan better.

Basically what I am saying is that look at countries who did a few weeks ago what some in the US want to do now and tell me how it worked.
The neglect/overwhelming at hospitals is a killer and I hear from staff, EMS and family. Clean this up and deaths will plunge like crazy!

10 days ago Thursday, IHME projected that 3 days ago Thursday New York will need 10,900 ICU beds. The actual count was 3,731. IHME’s “model” for NY is shaping nationwide policy. If they were off a abit on hospital/ICU need a month out, ok. But they are WAY off and a week out!
