@SmitsCindy had her first job in ICT in 2006 at a Servicedesk (EDS). 1 year later she started her career at @CronosGroep giving her the amazing opportunity to start her own non-profit in 2014 @DigitaleWolven, partner of the Let's STEAM project 👏🤩
“The school is the only place where everybody gets the possibility to get in contact with other things en people no matter their gender, religion, interests or parents".
In 2016 @SmitsCindy hired her first employee to help her in giving workshops at schools. “So many schools are interested and since 2019 I have a team of 5 people working for Digitale Wolven. In 2019 we gave workshops to 20.000 kids in Flanders and Brussels as well.”
Digitale Wolven is her biggest passion. Or as she likes to call it: "a hobby that got out of hand". Cindy Smits is also involved in the organization of @coolestprojects in Belgium, @CoderDojo4Divas and as @CodeWeekEU Ambassador in Belgium!
