Let us know, what's the motive and who are/were some of the people running handles like Kashmir Intel (@Kashmirosint), which claim themselves to be voice or source of information of #Kashmir.
NIA in Sep 2020 filed a charge sheet against 5 operatives of #IslamicState Khorasan Province, including the #Kashmiri couple who were running Kashmir Intel for allegedly conspiring to utilize the anti #CAA protests to instigate #Muslims against #Indian government & provoke riots
Here is how the couple, Jahanzaib Sami Wani & Hina Bashir planned to exploit gullible Muslim youth
They were conspiring to create unrest during anti #CAA protest by coining seditious slogans & making graffiti at public places, highlighting the same on social & international media
Part of a bigger plan, along with others, they had also conducted reconnaissance at prominent places in #Maharashtra frequented by foreigners and attempted to make an IED for carrying out mass killings.
On directions of the head of #ISKP viz. Abu Usman-Al-Kashmiri, the couple published multiple issues of ‘Voice of Hind’, inciting #Muslims against non-Muslims and exhorting them to rise against the government of #India and join #ISIS. @CestMoiz@SumitDefence@gauravcsawant
Voice of Hind is a propaganda digital magazine of the #IslamicState which has 9 editions so far. In every edition, it has sent out a message to #Indian Muslims to rise against govt. It also speaks of keeping chains, roes & wires and be ready to choke Kuffars & beat them to death
Jahanzaib, a B.Tech from Ferozpur, got radicalised towards #IISKP by reading about it on internet. He then established contact with ISIS handler Huzaifa-al-Bakistani and latter’s father-in-law viz. Abu Usman-Al-Kashmiri (Head of Indian affairs of #ISKP) in 2017.
Also, Jahanzaib had been in constant touch with a #Pakistani operative who was associated with #LeT before joining the #IslamicState’s Khorasan module and had played a key role in recruiting young #Kashmiris to militancy.
While Wani was officially working with a UK based IT Company that had an office in Srinagar but also had his role in the #Afghanistan-based affiliate of the #IslamicState had largely been restricted to spreading propaganda. @CestMoiz@Peacefulrumi@SumitDefence
Hina Bashir, who had done BCA and MBA from Pune, got radicalised in 2014-15 by surfing ISIS-related content on social media. Both supporting the #ISIS ideology, Jahanzaib and Hina got married in 2017.
Both were together running multiple social media handles and a webpage, Indian Muslims United, which were part of structured cyber propaganda of #IslamicStates radicalising the gullible #Muslim youth.
Sami had been recruiting youngsters for Jihad through social media, with his account name as ‘Dawood Al Hindi’. He has confessed to having ‘brainwashed’ youths into joining #ISIS. @neeraj_rajput@ajitsinghpundir@CestMoiz
First, his wife Hina used to communicate with these youngsters, pulling them into working for #ISIS and once they committed, he would take over. They had made a network of ISIS members in #India.
During the search at their #Delhi house, the Police alleged that the couple possessed similar chemicals as were found in Colombo’s serial blast and were planning serial blasts similar to the one that rocked Colombo in #SriLanka in 2019.
A Special Cell in #Delhi Police intercepted a conversation between two blast suspects from #ISIS’ Khorasan Module mentioning ‘Triacetone Tripperoxide’ explosive which is also known as ‘Mother of Satan’. Police had received leads of the couple at Okhla Vihar from this intercept
The couple used various social media handles similar to #Kashmir intel to strengthen the network of #IslamStates Khorasan Province in #India and instigate #Indian Muslims against #Indian govt.
There are a large number of such handles made for spewing hatred and vitriolic content in #kashmir while operators of handle sit in cozy living rooms or offices trying to turn #kashmir into vicious cycle of violence just for securing good bounty from across.
Unethical terrorist. #thread
On 09 Apr 2021, Hav Mohammed Saleem Akhoon of 162 TA Bn, who was off duty at around 1645 hrs was shot dead by terrorists at his residence in Bijbehara, #Anantnag….
The martyred Hav Mohd Saleem Akhoon is survived by his wife, 9 yr old daughter & 6 yr old son. Unfortunately, Saleem is not the first soldier who has been attacked like this by terrorists in #Kashmir
02 Aug 2022, Rifleman Shakir Manzoor of 162 Battalion (TA), was abducted by militants while he was returning to celebrate #Eid with his family in #Kashmir’s Shopian. His burnt car was later found in the nearby #Kulgam district.
For nearly two weeks the villages along LoC are witnessing days and nights without the sound of guns and bombs as the DGMOs of the two nations announced reaffirmation of the #India - #Pakistan ceasefire agreement.
It is pertinent to mention that the cease-fire was asked by #Pakistan. Although, the agreement is reported to be a result of week long back-channel discussions, what made Pakistan walk on this road? Here is a quick analysis.
#India’s hardened approach to #Pakistan with cross-border surgical strikes after the #Uri terror attack & upped the ante further with the #BalakotAirStrikes following #Pulwama terror attack has made it clear that no more diplomatic resolves will opt until Pakistan mends its way

Reputed corporate houses are working with govt to drive socio economic growth & development for the youth of #Kashmir.
12 districts in Jammu & Kashmir will get District Youth Centres with state-of-the-art amphitheatres, auditoriums & libraries.
For these DYCs the Govt is working with reputed corporate houses of #India, including Reliance Foundation, Ashok Leyland & the Tata group. Reliance has shown interest in setting up sports leagues in the UT, while the Tata Group has decided to invest in the IT & education sectors.
These DYCs are a first-of-its-kind noble initiative by the administration to help the youth of J&K to realise their immense potential, dreams & aspirations. Youth can take advantage of these facility for education, social & recreational purposes. #Kashmir
The Kashmir Walla @tkwmag better known for spreading hatred in its articles, landed in hot waters this time. On 27 Jan @tkwmag falsely claimed that Jamia Siraj-ul-Uloom school in Shopian was “pressurized by army” to hold Republic day function
The article became an embarrassment for @pzfahad & @tkwmag when the school authorities of Jamia Siraj-Ul-Uloom released an official statement clarifying that no such compulsion was there from the army or police & the news reported by @tkwmag was totally baseless.
Now an FIR has been rightly registered against @tkwmag in this regard for peddling fake news, & once again for the umpteenth number of time @tkwmag is playing the victim card & talking about "freedom of press".
Deradicalisation of #Kashmir Youth, need of the hour. #Thread.
The valley has been bearing the brunt of radicalisation that has the potential to destroy the future generation of #Kashmir. Its a ticking time bomb that needs to be addressed at the earliest.
The gradual erosion of #Sufism is an indicator of the growing radicalisation in #Kashmir. Sufism faces a stiff competition from the Wahhabi brand of Islam as preached in Saudi Arabia & other parts of the world.
Sufi shrines are being burnt and there has hardly been any public outcry regarding the same, indicating the waning influence of the Hanafis. With the abundance of Saudi money, Wahhabi followers are gradually taking over Hanafi masjids in the valley. #Kashmir
19 years ago, on 20 Jan 2002, 4 Lashkar-e-Taiba #terrorists massacred 11 civilians, including eight children & a woman, & injured three others at a small village of Behra in Poonch, Jammu & #Kashmir.
The only fault of those innocent souls was that they refuse to be a part of the cycle of violence, they refused to shelter the four gun wielding LeT #terrorists. #Kashmir
The cold hearted killers did not even hesitate to kill eight innocent children, what kind of Jihad justifies the killing of innocent kids. #Kashmir#Terrorism
