REFLECTIONS ON FORGIVENESS // FORGIVENESS OF SELF // NO CONDEMNATION IN CHRIST JESUS // ROMANS 8:1
Happy Saturday, beloved family! I hope your weekend has been off to an excellent start! 🌅☀️❤️
Our focus text for today, comes to us from Romans chapter 8, which focuses on life in the Spirit.
In verse 1, we have THE blessed assurance from God, that there is indeed NO CONDEMNATION FOR THOSE WHO ARE IN CHRIST JESUS.
To be “in Christ Jesus” means that He dwells within us, & us within Him. We are ONE.
So, by sending His own son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins, God made sure that there is NO CONDEMNATION for us.
Jesus conquered sin & death, so that WE might be saved & free from the bondage & guilt of sin.
The power & presence of Christ’s Holy Spirit dwelling within us enables us to overcome ALL sin & ALL flesh. This means that we are no longer slaves to sin, because of Jesus. We are no longer beholden mentally to the things that once held us captive. We are FREE.
And within that freedom is the freedom to FORGIVE OURSELVES for past sins, and slip-ups. There is GRACE for the present & for the future.
We can rest knowing that we are not condemned by God, & so neither should we condemn ourselves. After all, God MADE us, & He is HIGHER than us.
So, who are we to hold ourselves ransom, when He has CHOSEN to give us FREEDOM?🤔
Dear Lord,
We pray today that your presence would be ever more felt within & among us today. That we’d be ever more aware of You & that You are FOR US. That You DO NOT CONDEMN us, so neither should we CONDEMN OURSELVES.
Lord, we thank you for sending Your own son, Jesus Christ, so that we might be in right-standing with You. For these & other blessings we thank You, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Have a great day today, beloved people of God!

REFLECTIONS ON FORGIVENESS // FORGIVENESS OF SELF // THE GIFT OF PEACE OF MIND // JOHN 14:27
Happy Sunday, beloved children of God! 🌅☀️
As we wrap up our series on “Forgiveness of Self”, we find ourselves in John 14.
John 14 deals with the well known truth of Jesus being “the way, the truth, and the life.” Internalizing this truth has far-reaching impact in the life of a believer.
Our focus text comes to us from verse 27. Here, Jesus bestows on us, His magnificent GIFT OF PEACE OF MIND. He tells us that though He must physically depart the Earth, He’ll LEAVE HIS OWN PEACE with us.
REFLECTIONS ON FORGIVENESS // FORGIVENESS OF SELF // GOD IS GREATER THAN OUR HEART // 1 JOHN 3:20
Blessed Friyay morning to you all, beloved children of God! 🌅☀️❤️
Our focus today will be within 1st John , chapter 3. This chapter deals EXCLUSIVELY with our identities as children of God. We are encouraged to strive to be a people of ethical integrity & to live a life that is reflective of our spiritual identity.
In verse 20, we are reminded of the truth that God is actually GREATER THAN OUR HEART. People of God, this is a quite profound assertion! 🤯🤯🤯
REFLECTIONS ON FORGIVENESS // FORGIVENESS OF SELF // LOVE THROUGH A THOUSAND GENERATIONS // EXODUS 34:7
Good Morning, Apples of God’s Eyes!
🙏🏾❤️😍🌅☀️
Today’s focus text comes to us from Exodus 34. This chapter deals with God’s renewal of his covenant with the Moses & the people of Israel.
In verse 7, we see God’s character ever so clearly. He states that He keeps His steadfast love & covenant THROUGH A THOUSAND GENERATIONS. Beloved people, that is a LONGGGGGG TIME! Who among us can fathom A THOUSAND GENERATIONS??
REFLECTIONS ON FORGIVENESS // FORGIVENESS OF SELF // A STEADFAST LOVE, A COVENANT OF PEACE // ISAIAH 54:10
Happy Wednesday, beloved children of The Most High God. 🌅☀️❤️
Today’s focus text comes to us from the book of Isaiah, chapter 54. Isaiah 54 focuses largely on God’s everlasting love for ALL of His people & how this love HEALS ALL our sorrows. This, however, hinges on our CHOICE to abide in Him, on HIS terms, & not on our own.
Isaiah 54:10 paints a glorious picture of God’s steadfast love for us! 😍
Can you imagine mountains departing & hills being removed? What a sight that would be! How intense would that be?
Is it even likely that such a thing could happen?
Happy Sunday, beloved people of God! As we wrap up our series of reflections on God’s MERCY, I pray that your hearts & minds have been renewed & realigned to an even greater understanding of God’s great love for us,…
which manifests as His boundless MERCY toward us. That we’d realize that God doesn’t HAVE to extend His MERCY to us, but He CHOOSES to anyway.
This brings us to today’s focus text. In Romans 9:15, God makes a sovereign choice. Even before they were born, God CHOSE Jacob over Esau, when they were devoid of character traits, which in the natural would make the choice seemingly easier for God.
Happy Saturday, my beloved family! I trust that your weekend is off to an AMAZING start!
Today’s focus text is centered around humbling ourselves before God, as we seek His grace & MERCY in our lives.
We come boldly, yet humbly, to God’s throne of grace, as we make our petitions known to Him. We acknowledge that the mere fact that He extends His boundless MERCY to us, is quite honestly, simply BECAUSE of His STEADFAST LOVE for us, His beloved children.
He is able to & really delights in “blotting out our transgressions”. In making us new, RENEWING our minds, RECONCILING Himself to us, & RESTORING us.
