With all that help, we wanted 2 talk about some very overlooked self care. The FDA is covering stuff but we will go a bit deeper.
Water- the water that has flooded your area needs 2 B treated as toxic because it is.
The amount of chemicals & human effluent contained in it R well beyond exposure limits in many cases.
If U R exposed, U need 2 wash yourself with a known clean water source.
If U have a deep exposure, U will need 2 have yourself tested 4 common exposure diseases like the Heps.
Meds- Medications exposed 2 water not contained in a factory tamper proof sealed container needs 2 B cataloged 4 replacement & disposed of.
Any liquid medications need 2 b catalogued & disposed of. U cannot tell if a seal is broken or not. Any water can taint the medication.
Pills in blister packs & factory tamper resistant sealed bottles need 2 B washed & dried B 4 opening...
... Pills then need 2B inspected 4 water damage. Any off looking pills or pills that smell funny, catalog & dispose of.
We understand that this will take some time & patience. With the level of flooding some medications may become scarce...
