Dear Republicans including @SHSanders45 - trying to turn black people against brown people to sell your DACA kill won't work.
This echoes the old Pat Buchanan strategy: pretend that one of the "true" purposes of white nationalism is to defend black labor...
which of course is only "grandfathered in" because of slavery. The catch of course is that black labor is designated as physical/menial.
The idea is to keep the conversation confined to the lowest labor rung - ignoring the constant upward mobility of that lowest rung.
Let alone the fact that black labor left that rung en masse over 100 years ago.
God forbid the answer be protecting existing low wage workers, raising wages across the board, and seeking full employment across groups.
And not for nothing, but that most vulnerable labor rung has zero to do with DACA, where the recipients are in more upwardly mobile jobs.
Oh, and not all the DACA recipients are Latino, Sarah. A lot of them ARE black, and Asian, too.
