1/ Long time since I did a thread. Thought I'll do 1 on the paedo-supporter controversy that was discussed here yesterday
2/ Recently some people in Kerala - ID politics groups & postmodernists(PoMos) started "normalising" paedophilia.
3/ Their argument: "restrictions against paedophilia imposed by a progressive society is violence against the sexual rights of paedophiles"
4/ The issue blew up when Farhad, an art student, made an FB post where he justified paedos & gloated about exploiting a 10 yr old girl
5/ and even went on to fly the "silence is consent" flag. A day later he deleted his comment & deactivated his account.
6/ While Farhad was slammed by people across the board, he got support from odd places: an NIT prof & an INC youth leader, for e.g.
7/ They were seen making theoretical & political justifications on social media to whitewash Farhad & indirectly normalise paedophilia
8/ The INC youth chap subsequently denied that he supports paedophilia & took a stance that he is only supporting a victim of islamophobia
9/ though he never explained the rationality of his encouraging comments under Farhad's post; now he's resorted to "that was sarcasm!"
10/ However, this is Kerala. The paedophilia supporters were mercilessly attacked on social media by all progressive groups, notably Left..
11/ and LGBT community who took particular exception to the pro-paedo gang's attempt at suffixing a P to LGBT & hijack/destroy LGBT
12/ Complaints were filed against Farhad, with the state police as well as Child Rights Commission, who started investigating this.
13/ Few weeks later, Farhad reactivated his account & made another provocative pro-paedo comment where he normalised paedophilia.
14/ Social media erupted in protest & many prominent journalists, doctors etc joined in, resulting in an intervention from the CM himself
15/ which prompted the cyber-cell to track down Farhad's parents' home. Local police asked them to report to the station for inquiry.
16/ At which point the INC youth leader re-enters the scene, attempts a "compromise" at the police station, fails.
17/ Cue for the INC youth neta to play the well-worn card: "Kerala police is islamophobic, Pinarayi Vijayan is a sanghi"
18/ Allegation here is NOT that this INC youth neta is a paedo; it is that he is going out of his way to protect a self-confessed paedo
19/ Protecting a pervert is only one degree removed from being a pervert. Why is @INCKerala reluctant to act against him?
20/ The people who are seen as supporting this youth leader - islamists, anti-rationalists, PoMos; is @INCKerala afraid of them?
21/ Not acting against this lot is the fucking biggest ammunition that you can load into sanghi guns. It is your funeral @INCKerala
22/ Not acting against this lot is an insult to your cadre. Yes cadre. Kerala is one place where you still have almost cadre-like workers.
23/ Do not fuck them all for the misplaced IDpol misadventures of one wannabe & his PoMo fans.
