1. #thread #MyWeinsteinLikeMoment - I & others were sexually harassed in 4-6 grades. Teachers did nothing. He grew up to be a child molester
2. #MyWeinsteinLikeMoment - An Army officer tried to "groom me" & I rejected him. Later I found out he did it to many female Soldiers.
3. #MyWeinsteinLikeMoment As waitresses, a man would try to grab our butts. We later found out he did this at all restaurants.
4. #MyWeinsteinLikeMoment - A boss asked to "talk" to me about my promotion & his "demands" I rejected him. Someone else was promoted.
5. #MyWeinsteinLikeMoment - A coworker constantly called me *his* bitch & whore. I reported him. I was reassigned. He did it to others.
6. These are only 5 instances where I had #MyWeinsteinLikeMoment - My entire career is full of them. Almost every female I know has had one.
7. Just like others, my stories are worse than here, but I'll save those for a book sometime.
8. The point of #MyWeinsteinLikeMoment is to show others the hell females (and some males) go through in our life & career.
9. I think of all the lives and careers, which could have been saved if I had been believed all the times I reported terrible behavior.
10. If we are going to make the workplace safe and equal for everyone, we must fire & punish the #MyWeinsteinLikeMoment perpetrators.
11. Most abusers don't abuse just once, so when reports are ignored, more people are hurt & careers ruined. That's unacceptable.
12. I hope, w/ a case like #wienstien , the country will do better. For the safety of all, & protection of victims, we must do better. / end
