Perhaps this is the political perspective on the issue. Legally might be possible, but optics will be deeply problematic

Would require a sea-change from UK politicians, who wld be accused of selling-out/denying the will of the ppl/etc

Problems wld grow wildly if EU27 tried to tie revocation to changes to status quo ante, eg w rebate

At best, revocation wld look like fear-driven response, rather than +ve choice, leaving UK in same position as before #euref

Hard to see how any UK gvt wld survive initial shock, esp if not underpinned by new #euref

In short, politics might drive law, but politics looks super-tricky on this
