a year ago, rubytogether received a pretty hatefully written ultimatum letter from prominent members of the ruby community, telling them andré should step down.
i also know that everyone who wrote the original email to rubytogether never talked to andré about any of the issues beforehand, even when he months before had asked for feedback in private conversation.
