Trump's public harassment of Senator Gillibrand today gave us a glimpse into not only why he shouldn't be president, but how he views women and the world. 1/
First of all, for the leader of this country to not understand what's happening with the movement against patriarchal abuse is stunning. He obviously has no clue what's happening. 2/
He is beyond out of touch, not with the times, but with the very nation he's been charged with serving. I can't imagine a president being so ignorant of the zeitgeist. 3/
That, politically and socially speaking, should frighten everyone that he is so ignorant of what's happening around him. 4/
But his recollection of what happened with Gillibrand is telling in that, during a conversation with a professional woman, all he could think about was what she was willing to do for money. 5/
This is completely in line with his Access Hollywood remarks in that women are ready for anything he might want. It's a worldview, and I think it's getting lost in this. 6/
Trump couldn't speak to a very serious woman without thinking about not just sex, but how he could get "anything" he wanted out of her. This is an extension of his serial predator nature. 7/
Further, his admission of this in public, along with his continual bragging about his assaults, should tell everyone this is a person who is so deluded he's lost in his own lies. 8/
This is not a master technician, politicking his way through his presidency. This is a pathetic man who tripped and fell into the presidency, and when he lies, he believes it. 9/
That should scare the living hell out of everyone. If Trump's lies were strategic, that's one thing, and frightening enough, but the fact that he's lost down this hall of mirrors? That's dangerous as all get out. 10/
We're past the point of him needing removed from office. That should've come much earlier. Now we're way past due and Republicans need to step up to the plate and do their jobs. 11/
The crimes are out in the open. There's no hiding behind ignorance. He harassed a senator, a member of congress, in full view of the world. This must be addressed and this must end. 12/12
