In cyber, Rosenstein says, "We face both an intelligence threat from hostile foreign governments and also a criminal threat from people who try to break into our systems to commit crimes and defraud Americans."
Jayapal asks Rosenstein if DOJ has begun an election security review, which Sessions last told HJC had not started yet.

Rosenstein said that he and Sessions had met with FBI Director Wray "and some of his experts" to discuss protecting elections from hackers.
Rosenstein, asked if DOJ has launched a review of the 2016 election cyberattacks: “I believe the answer is yes, but I can get further information for you if you like.”
