Mary Kay pleaded guilty to two counts of felony second degree rape of a child and served six months in jail and was ordered to stay out of contact with her victim for life. Before she was sent to jail, Mary had gotten pregnant by her then 14 year old victim and had their first
child in July of 1997, while out on bail.
Only one month after her release from jail, she was caught with the victim again and was re-sentenced to 7 and a half years in prison from 1998-2004 after pleading guilty to another rape charge.

She was already having sex with the boy again before she was arrested the second time Which resulted in the two having a second child while Mary Kay was in custody in October of 1998.
After completing her full sentence, the young man whom she’d birthed two children with and was of legal age then, asked the courts to lift the no contact ruling so that the two could marry and raise their family as they were madly in love.
The two ended up marrying in 2005 and Mary Kay Letourneau became Mary Kay Letourneau-Fauulau and her once victim turned husband, Vili Fualaau, are together to this very day. They have been happily married for 11 years.
