1) Early in the day tweet thread about this, building off of some of the themes of last night, specifically how the far left has co-opted the Democrat party. And society as a whole, really.

3) In 2008, the country elected Barack Obama who was by all measures someone on the far left. Democrats had so demonized Bush era neocons that going as far to the other extreme as possible made sense. In doing so, they were dealing with a force that they did not fully understand.
4) The SJW phenomena, something that exists nestled deep within the far left, was before more of a joke. An extreme position of an extreme position. Something you might find if you dug around enough on a college campus. But then the SJW dream candidate became president.
5) This legitimized them. He didn't just win, he won in a landslide, and then he began actively endorsing their viewpoints. The White House lawn beer sit down. Chastising big banks. Winning a Nobel Peace Prize for simply existing. It was a wet dream sprang to life for them.
6) The SJW mentality, the far leftist mentality, it is a predatory one. It seeks to infect, to dominate, because it can only function in a society where it is unchallenged. So, it began to infect the perception of society. News media. Entertainment. Internet companies.
7) Who remembers gamergate? Who knows what gamergate was ACTUALLY about? I won't get into specific tactics or persons involved, but the long and short of it was, there were a LOT of SJWs in video game journalism and video game development, and they would all work together.
8) Journalistic integrity was... well, it was just gone. When journalists were dating developers or vice versa, bribery, quid-pro-quo, it was a shitshow. And when they were called on it? The SJWs screamed 'racism! sexism! bigotry!'
9) This is where something interesting happened. Even moderate Democrats were on the side of conservatives in gamergate. The SJW crowd was actually a very vocal minority, that projected themselves as something far larger even when reality proved the exact opposite.
10) This would fly under the radar until comicsgate. For that, I refer you to @DiversityAndCmx and others. As @LarrySchweikart touched upon, a lot of comics endorsed by far-left groups were recently cancelled. See, what happened was, SJWs took over Marvel and comic journalism.
11) 'SJW Marvel' it was called. And it was a shitshow. Bad writing, poor editing, declining art, crap gimmicks. Sales in comics have plummeted in a decade. 158,000 comics used to be the BASELINE for a good comic. Now if its above 30,000 its considered average.
12) And when the customers, moderate democrat and conservative both, complained? "Racism! Sexism! Bigotry!" Sooooo instead sales have bottomed out.
13) Now, look at the mainstream media. WaComPost. Failing NYT. CrapNN. Lotta far-left crap, digging in their heels kicking and screaming against Donald Trump. Polls telling us that half the country disapproves of Trump.
14) Social media companies that, thanks to the likes of @JamesADamore and @JamesOKeefeIII we have actual evidence of how far to the left they have swung and how they're actively controlling the internet's display of left vs right, promoting a far left viewpoint over all others
15) What if I were to tell you that the far left SJWs are actually a very small minority that has just hijacked the Democrat apparatus for their own purposes? That they have used key societal positions to convince everyone that they were the majority for 8 years?
16) That Obama's administration actively helped push this, destroying logic and reason through pushing Common Core, by crushing conservative PAC networks through the IRS, by pushing right-wing upstart news to the fringes deligitimizing groups like @Project_Veritas for years?
17) That @Debradelai's rat list, the news media personnel that actively cooperated with the Clinton campaign, google and twitter and facebook itself, actively created the construct that was this false majority?
18) That the reality-shattering event was that Trump was able to see through the bullshit and flip the Blue Wall, the rust belt, what should have been die blue Democrats, to vote for him in mass? Pennsylvania, Michigan, Minnesota.
19) We've been convinced for a year that it is a 50/50 us vs them battle. That the country is split down the middle.
20) With the cloture and the vote yesterday, the second brick has been chucked through the window of the false reality. 81-18. TWICE. The 16 Dem holdouts? The far left and neolibs. The SJW idols. That's their 'majority'. Its not 50%. its less than 20%.
21) THAT is the great lie that they have told us. They represent at most 1/5 of the population. Less than 1/5 of the population wants to kick and scream and make us abide by THEIR demands. They held a shutdown because they believed they could use their 50% to force a compromise.
22) Trump stated it openly himself. He knows that its only the far left opposing him, because he got the moderates to vote with him in the election. Now is the turning point. Now is when he's going to delegitimize and destroy the far left.
23) Watch. 2018 is going to be a surge of moderate dems and a red tide. 2020 is going to be an utter blowout. The 20% that has held our country hostage for a decade will be exorcised from our political system from all but the deepest blue regions. All will be well. /end
