I serialize in this thread thoughts from one of the preeminent contemporary thinkers on the way of the left, Dennis Prager. He has studied the left and commented on it for over 40 years.
Communism in 20th century
Radical Islamic terror & Islamist treatment of women
Stalinist North Korean regime
Holocaust-denying and Holocaust-planning theocracy of Iran
Syrian mass murderers
Violent crime in US
the left is either silent or appeasing.
Confederate statues
Schools with the name of slave owners (including George Washington and Thomas Jefferson)
Carbon emissions,
Income inequality
"Microaggressions"
"White privilege"
Any limitation on abortion
Columbus Day
"Islamophobia"
Israeli settlements
"Russian collusion"
and the like. Against these minimal or nonexistent evils, the left is ferocious.
The END
Here's a simple test to determine whether someone, some institution, or some nation is a big evil or not. If the left attacks it fiercely, it is either not evil or is a small evil. If it really were a monstrous evil, the left would want to find a way to appease it.
