Trump Strategy theory:
1) Watching @larry_kudlow being interviewed on the @TeamCavuto show reminded me once again about the difficulty of explaining Trump Strategy to ordinary people who think in lineal fashion, or black and white thinking. I'll admit its a difficult task.
2) In order to begin to understand why Trump does the things he does, you should throw out logical progression that most people undertake to complete an objective as in follow these steps (1,2,3..) to achieve objective Y. Trump does not think in these terms.
3) Watch @larry_kudlow try to explain to @TeamCavuto that @realDonaldTrump is a free trader. "But Larry, how can that be, he is imposing tariffs which will create a trade war."

Well, yes he is , but you are thinking logically as if we are on an equal playing field, we're not.
4) We want to be free traders, and we are, but you can't be when you are 300+ billion in the hole. A different strategy must be employed. Specifically Trump Strategy theory must be applied. "Won't some sectors be unfairly affected by imposing these tariffs ?" In the short run.
5) In order to illustrate my point, I would direct you to @Reince's words in his Vanity Fair article wherein he states, more clearly than anyone else I've heard, an informed understanding of the Trump Strategy Theory. I will include his observations of Trump in this thread.
6) @Reince on Trump :
“[Trump] is a man who fears no one and nothing,” continued Priebus, “and there is absolutely nothing he’s intimidated by. . . . And that’s very rare in politics. Most people in politics are people who have sort of an approval addiction...."
7) Cont.
President Trump does too, but he’s willing to weather one storm after the next to get to an end result that most people are not willing to weather. . . . He doesn’t mind the craziness, the drama, or the difficulty, as long as an end goal is in sight. He will endure it.”
8) Did you catch it? Trump has an end goal and he doesn't follow logical standard procedure to get there. "Most people not willing to weather." i.e. tariffs on his base for the sake of the larger picture (end goal) to achieve a more balanced trade deficit with China and thus
9) ..A more secure and wealthy America. "He doesn't mind the craziness, the drama (MSM narrative trying to divide the base) as long as the end goal is in sight." He will employ almost any strategy to achieve the end goal. If one isn't working, he will switch midstream to...
10)...another. "He will endure it" So, his approach may seem chaotic to some, misguided to others, ludicrous to some, nevertheless, it's not the strategy that matters, it is the end goal that must be achieved through whatever means are legally and ethically available.
11) Now I have applied the Trump Strategy theory to one example in this thread, the trade on going trade negotiations. But, this is certainly not the only current ongoing problem to which you can see the Trump Strategy being implemented. With this idea firmly fixed in your mind
12)...,begin to view abstractly other Trump tactics that seem to be anathema to his declared MAGA platform, and you might just see that he is employing whatever strategy is required to reach the end goal. He doesn't really care about what happens in the middle, and ...
13).. you shouldn't either if you are a Trump Supporter. The end goal is to Make American Great Again, and no one said it was going to be a straight and easy road. There are swamp politicians and a giant bureaucracy that have to be negotiated; that doesn't happen...
14)..by convention thinking. After all, conventional thinking is how we got into this mess to begin with. So, sit back, and observe with a discerning eye. Look for the Trump Strategy, Its much more fun to watch the game once you can see the big picture (Trump Strategy).
15) I thought it would probably be helpful to attach the interview I was referring to from the start. Keep in mind that this is just one example of what I've tried to explain. The Omnibus bill would be another.

Interview 👇
16) This is my first ever thread so be kind. 😬
Addendum:
Here is the Vanity Fair interview of Reince Priebus if you would like to read it in full. It is biased against Trump of course, but interesting nevertheless. The quote I used in my thread is near the end of the article.
