Sometimes voting can seem far too meaningless. For Remainer Now people, it might seem monumental. But democracy means review, oversight, and the option and processes to change our minds and course as a country if we need and want to. Remainer Now peeps, want to come to the Lords?
We've booked a room in the House of Lords, and have a bunch of peers of the realm eager to hear from you. If you can come to London on Tuesday 24th April, and can get to Westminster between 12 and 2.30pm, we'd love to have you. Get in touch.
To clarify, this event at the Lords is only for #Remainernow people. A number of #bregretter ladies and gents are already attending but the Lords are keen to hear as many stories as possible so please do reach out if you can attend.

All over the UK there are numerous local anti-brexit groups doing great work on the streets of towns and cities.

I'm aware they often meet many leave voters who've changed their minds.

This thread shows those voters who've been willing to record something.
This lady (from Truro) voted leave. But she regrets it. She considers the UK public was made to panic and told a lot of lies. She is a #RemainerNow as she explained to @Cornwall4EU in the late summer.

She is right and it's why many leavers back a #PeoplesVote

THREAD: There’s all kinds of crazy things being said about voter fraud. Every time a GOP loses a race, people scream fraud. My response is, it depends.
The most common type of voter fraud is to fill out absentee ballots en masse. When that’s done, you see large blocks of votes voting straight ticket, and the turnout is excessively high. When compared to other counties, the turnout will be higher than all or most of them.
Another common type of fraud is to bus people in to a district where eligibility checks are either non-existent or extremely lax. You see this type of fraud going on in places like New Hampshire, where students are bussed in from Boston to tilt an election.

Here’s some toxic patterns I’ve heard DSA members across the country experience in their chapters this past year:

1) martyrocracy: people who “do the most work” at great personal expense claim they should be leaders by virtue of having sacrificed the most of their lives
2) rule by withholding information: leaders use “insider knowledge” as the basis of their rule and control access to answers, making it impossible for anyone else to question their decisions. They, in turn, use this access to info to further justify their leadership.
3) Rule by Citation: leadership relies on a scant handful of Marxist scholars cited often by their intellectual leadership as orthodoxy and thus rule out the many thousands of other Marxist scholars as somehow less relevant, alienating Socialists from other traditions

After 70 years of imperial/neoliberal indoctrination the web of lies is so obviously absurde (9/11, Skripal, WH = ISIS, etc.), that it is dissoluting. The empathetic humanity connects, closes ranks and sends their eternal psychopathic rulers and their lackeys into nowhere land.
The "evil empire" is a lifelong three year old child. I certainly loved my children at that age too, however only because they created not only a surreal mess, but also made steady progress.

A great documentary about psychopathy and society:
The elite invented "democracy" to protect them from the empathetic people. The media are their means for misleading the people sedated by "democracy". This is definitely a bad thing since the people have become educated and the elite almost totally insane.
