#REMAINERNOW THREAD

All over the UK there are numerous local anti-brexit groups doing great work on the streets of towns and cities.

I'm aware they often meet many leave voters who've changed their minds.

This thread shows those voters who've been willing to record something.

This lady (from Truro) voted leave. But she regrets it. She considers the UK public was made to panic and told a lot of lies. She is a #RemainerNow as she explained to @Cornwall4EU in the late summer.

She is right and it's why many leavers back a #PeoplesVote

This video was recorded in Bury St Edmunds in August by the local group there and sent into @peoplesvote_uk. She explained how she feels now she knows more about #brexit she is a #RemainerNow. She thinks it's a mess and we need a #FinalSay

This lady also voted leave. However she now realises just how complicated brexit is. She also realises benefits such as use of EHIC for health services abroad. She's changed her mind & here she explains to @Cornwall4EU in Bodmin that she's a #RemainerNow. She is far from alone.

Keith voted leave in 2016, but he has now had conversations with his grandkids and has changed his mind. Here he was in the late summer telling @Anna_Soubry on a @NottPeoplesVote stall that he now backs a #PeoplesVote as no-one knew enough in 2016. Respect to him. #RemainerNow

This lady voted leave. She wanted to help the NHS. She has changed her mind and is a #RemainerNow. Here she is explaining to @LeedsEurope that she now realises brexit will actually cost the UK more and there will be less money for the NHS. She also now backs a #FinalSay

This chap also voted leave, but he has now changed his mind. He now has concerns over the treatment of EU citizens, like those that care for his mum, and that they may have to leave the UK. He is a #RemainerNow and in November he signed up for a #Finalsay with @Cornwall4EU

Here is another voter who despite voting leave in 2016, has changed his mind. He was caught up in arguments that immigration was a problem for the UK. But now he realises brexit is a huge risk to jobs in the UK and here he is explaining this to @Anna_Soubry & @NottPeoplesVote!

This man voted leave, he had thought through his vote, but in November he explained to the guys @Mcr4EU how he had changed his mind and was a #RemainerNow. His reasons include @BorderIrish concerns & complexities due to 40 years regulatory alignment. He is not alone. #FinalSay

This young man abstained in 2016 but he is a #RemainerNow. Here he was in December talking to the good guys @NorfolkforEU talking about it and how he considers we must have a #PeoplesVote with #OptionToRemain. Respect to him. 👏

Here is a voter talking to the guys @NottPeoplesVote at a stall in early December about how his dad now feels on brexit. He voted leave (immigration concerns) but now he knows more on both immigration controls UK already has and negative ramifications, he is a #RemainerNow.

Leon (@Leon_French01) voted leave but in early December he changed his mind and signed up for a #PeoplesVote. Here he is at a @Best4Doncaster stall in December explaining why he is a #RemainerNow. Respect to him. He is far from alone.

Nick here voted leave (sort of out of nostalgia) but here he was in early January explaining to @BathforEurope that he has now seen what the economic impact will be and he is a #RemainerNow. Well done to Nick. So many feel like him.
