feminism must be intersectional or it is worthless, and this is why. because if you ignore all axes of oppression but one - "biological sex" - you end up reinforcing the privilege of the least oppressed women
cis privilege means that your concerns are more easily comprehensible to the ignorant
"there's a MAN in the ladies' room" causes more immediate, visceral outrage than "we are being forced out of public life"

and "they're tricking our kids into ruining their bodies", nonsensical as it is, seems scarier at first glance than "we need control over our own bodies or we will suffer for our entire lives, and some of us won't make it very long"
and so when they do attack us directly, it's not with threats. it's with performative handwringing and feigned terror, because they're well aware that society looks down on us. they know exactly how easy it is to make us look like monsters
but their true violence is when they speak to those in power, politely and respectfully, and ask them to make us go away
