I’ve always had faith that our democracy would apply something like Newton’s Third Law to Trump.

An equal but opposite reaction.

Trump committed treason in Helsinki.

Now the machinery of patriotism is biting back.

Things are accelerating.

Let’s start w the moneylines that support the above.

A super-secret meeting with ultra-sensitive material...

...and the NYT confirmed it with nearly a dozen people.

The intel community has always had the goods on Trump

They’re only now starting to open the bay and drop bombs

This story is a complete carpet-bombing of Trump’s lies AND eviscerates Russia’s denials AND makes Trump look all the more treasonous for his behavior in Helsinki.

He knew fully well Putin worked to elect him.

He saw the smoking guns.

He saw evidence that not only had the U.S. found evidence Russia hacked the DNC; so had many other countries’ intelligence services.

Trump was briefed on all of this.

He knew all along Russia had been caught.

...and then he pushed out every single top official who briefed him.

Bringing this all the way back to the first point though:

We haven’t been seeing a patriotic machine brought to the brink of breaking.

We’ve been seeing an army of patriots who know all of this from the start and have been holding their fire...

...until now.

Trump opened the floodgates and forced the intelligence communities hand.

He crossed a red line this week.

He declared war on the intelligence community - and they’ve just opened fire.

Trump entirely set himself ablaze this week... and now we get to watch him burn himself down

There is so much meat in this story, it’s like throwing a tractor-trailer of seed into a fertile field.

It will beget a hundred more stories about each and every recorded lie or denial since.

We’re getting close to the question related to impeachment being when not if.

Even Republicans are going to have to face the reality that Mueller very likely has Trump and everyone around him entirely dead to rights.

Even Repubs are going to have to face the fact that Trump’s ship is going down and it’s time to swim away.

Helsinki was the tipping point.

Rt now, as we’re reading this NYT story, so are a whole lot of elected R’s who - just like us - didn’t know what Trump had been shown.

There are some tall glasses of whiskey being refilled tonite.

A lot of ppl are realizing they’ve been lying for a guy who knew he was cooked.

The rest of this week is going to be nuts.

Look for some defections to start.

I’d bet on vulnerable R’s starting to purposefully distance themselves from the White House and come out as strong advocates for aggressively punishing Russia.

Gonna be a wild few days.
