human rights. Nor is Trump religious, and his behavior - lying, philandering, scamming, etc. - grossly violates just about any religion’s ethical code. And his evangelical voters are his most loyal, and they love this sort of rhetoric, especially about Christians in the Middle /2
East. So it looks like the whole thing is transparent base pandering yet again, which likely doesn’t imply much for serious human rights cases like N Korea or China. Maybe I’m wrong, but this far into the Trump presidency, does anyone really believe Trump cares about human /3
